Community Service Officer (CSO). CSOs are traditionally recent high school graduates who are looking towards law enforcement as a viable career path, and waiting to meet the age and education requirements to apply to the Police Academy.

The CSO program allows the employee up to five years to gain valuable, practical experience, while attending college under the tuition reimbursement program and earning a salary.
